my stay was enjoyable with kind, attentive management who really went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant trip, and I loved how the hotel was just a few steps from the central market and a short walk to the river, making it perfect for leisurely strolls through this beautiful city.

Particularly good and fab location for visiting bars and cafes close to the hotel. The staff were attentive and caring and assisted with free parking...

thanks a lot for providing us with a very very good stay. the hotel is clean, has views across town. the building is nice and the rooms are well priced and well-appointed. favourable location right in the center, you can walk everywhere. plus, this property is just off the old market in town and most bars and restaurants a short walk away. there's good rooftop bar with cool beverages.

Delighted by the rooftop terrace views and the warm hospitality of the family owners, who made our stay nice. The complimentary tuk-tuk ride to explore local attractions was a fantastic touch.

The room was clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful staf. The restaurant on the rooftop is probably the best thing ever.

Internet did not work in the room.

The hotel is in the middle of the city center.

There is no coffee and tea facility in the room although Booked.net states the hotel does provide this. The room wasn't ready when we arrived, there were no extra amenities for the 3th person, the staff is not trained and cannot speak English very well. The owner however, tried everything to create a nice stay for us but even at breakfast the next day his staff had no clue about our booking and they wanted to charge us again for breakfast. The hotel staff really needs proper training because now a lot of guests seem to get annoyed with their lacking communication skills.

The room had a persistent unpleasant smell, with dirty air conditioner filters!!! Thick steel bars on the windows felt unsettling!!! Bathroom cleanliness needed serious attention!!!

We are a family with one young teenager and were able to have a room with 3 twin beds. The mini-fridge and air-con worked well. The roof-top terrace is lovely and breakfast was good. The hotel is able to book bus and ferry tickets.

I was there for 4 nights and ate at rooftop restaurant for lunch and dinner. The location was unbeatable and MAGNIFICENT, close to Boeung Chhouk Market. There was a river and a hill walking distance to the place.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, just a short walk to the market and the river. The staff really stood out with their warm hospitality. They went out of their way to help me organize local trips and make sure I was comfortable. The rooftop terrace offered beautiful views, a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. My room was clean and spacious, matching the photos provided online. The bathroom cleanliness could have been better. There was a slight issue with the air conditioning not working properly at first, but the staff was quick to resolve it and even offered me a new room without any hassle. I appreciated the cozy vibe and would recommend it, though more attention to room maintenance would be ideal.

The staff were always looking for ways to make our stay a pleasant one - and they succeeded. The room was spaceous, clean and comfortable and the food was quite acceptable. The roof top terrace/bar/restaurant was a real bonus - lovely for breakfast and evening meal after a hot day. Really well done to everyone at the Royal hotel.

I would only rate one staff member as friendly. The rest sat around the reception area and barely looked at guests when they approached

The rooftop jacuzzi was great, but the bathroom cleanliness was lacking.

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff tried to satisfy all needs as quickly as possible. They were all exceptionally helpful even though there was a language difficulty.
